"Red Tie Event" Joey, another one of my "kids", is not known for being obedient. No, he has things to do and he will follow my advice only if it fits his plans. I caught him in a moment where he felt confident that his charming good looks and "perfect" sitting position would get him a pass to go "out on the town"! I had fun with this as I played with the red, yellow and blue (triadic) color scheme which reflected my thoughts of him as a confident "puppy-child". I know he was dressed up in his black suit but I had to throw some color in. I love red and yes, he really owns that red leash! Trying to capture his "serious" expression was a challenge with such a small brush. I fought trying to get too detailed in some parts but feel the loose brushwork expresses his carefree lifestyle.
